An ecru weft gives this gorgeous pastel fade a wonderfully fresh look: this stunning fade runs from dusty navy, through lilac and mint to warming, peachy tones.

Floppy soft and beautifully malleable this Boutique sling is wrap-able right out of the bag. Organic combed cotton and wool give a lovely cush to this medium weight sling, as well as adding temperature regulating qualities - perfect for changeable weather. Decadent cashmere lends a lovely softness and the finest quality tussah silk adds a delicate strength and a little shimmer.

This wrap feel luxuriously cushy, while maintaining a lovely drape; with the pattern adding a good amount of grip this deceptively strong Boutique sling is perfect for all ages.

44% organic combed cotton, 34% wool, 11% tussah silk, 11% cashmere, approx. 302gsm, 68cm wide. 12 wraps and 8 ring slings have been made.

Size Guide Ring slings are around 190 - 200cm long x 70cm wide.
Qualities & Care

Washing

Our cotton, linen and bamboo only needs to be washed at 30 degrees. We don’t recommend bleach as it can damage fabric.

Do not use fabric softener with your slings - it reduces the life of the fabric and makes it lose grip.

It is recommended to put ring slings inside a pillow cover when washing so the rings don’t get damaged.

Tumble drying

We do not recommend tumble drying in our washing instructions as it decreases the life of any fabric. Having said that, running it on a low temperature can help soften and ‘break in’ your sling.

Ironing

It is a good idea to steam iron your cotton and linen slings after washing. Not only does it make them pretty and help to soften the fabric but it avoids the fabric creasing along the same lines repeatedly, which can lead to wear.

Try not to let linen dry completely if you are going to iron – linen is much easier to iron whilst damp. If you dry linen completely in the tumble dryer it may appear to have drastically shrunk. The fibres have just been compacted together and will return to normal after a quick press with an iron (and a spray of water). Using your sling will also stretch it back out again.

Silk, Wool, Cashmere

We recommend hand washing these fabrics. Run some lukewarm water into a bath or sink, add some suitable wool/silk/cashmere soap and place your sling in the water. Let it sit for a while, gently agitating the wrap, then rinse. Gently squeeze off any excess water (without wringing), roll in towels and step on it to dry further. For silk wraps, without wool in them, you can use the silk or hand wash setting on your washing machine if it has one, otherwise, hand wash. Wool and cashmere should be laid flat to dry. You should avoid drying silk in direct sunlight. They can be ironed on a very cool setting.
About Ring Slings Ring slings are elegant and quick to use: perfect for short trips and for children who like to be up and down often. Packing up small and light they are an amazing tool for the busy parent.

Our ring slings come with two shoulder options: Pleated and Gathered.

Our unique Highland Pleated shoulder was exclusively developed by Oscha, inspired by the Kingussie Kilt with its use of both box and knife pleats, it ensures an even distribution of weight and a streamlined aesthetic.

The Gathered shoulder has been widely used for some time – it is a tried and tested favourite. This shoulder style is less structured than the Pleated shoulder as the fabric is gathered directly through the rings with no folds, allowing the wearer to spread the fabric over the shoulder for extra adjustability.

The choice of shoulder is down to personal preference, although those with narrower shoulders may prefer the Pleated option.

Oscha ring slings can be worn on either shoulder, although some directional patterns may by listed as Left Hand or Right Hand. This refers to the shoulder on which you would have the rings sitting if you wished the pattern to hang the correct way up.

Ring slings are most commonly used for hip & front carries, although back carries with toddlers is possible. They are a popular choice for weddings & Christenings.

Oscha slings are woven in the British Isles from responsibly sourced yarns & hand crafted in Scotland.
